I have hereby said thanks. Any time I query anything I always worry I'm bothering people with incessant emails!

I always email a thank you, particularly if it's someone I intend on having further conversations with.

I've had a few jobs writing proforma thankyou emails, some companies get in a right old pickle about seeming polite and genuine, without being foamy.
(sigh in days gone by Griff, would have immediately on reading that written a fake thank you letter from Sootyj. It would have been badly spelled, scatological and brilliant now those days are gone)

I think one of the best habits you can get into is netiquette. Particularly thank you and holding emails.
