FUTURE DUCK! Episode One

Hi guys, haven't posted anything in aaaages but have been having a stab at bashing together this new little animated online series... Me and my mate Paul basically did all the writing/artwork/animation/songwriting/tea making from our bedrooms, see what you reckon :)

I usually like your stuff and it's great to see you back.

But that video, argh it's like pure liquid migrane, too bright, too noisy and all those crude animated characters/

Not to mention faux American accents. I'm not sure if it was funny, but it was just so screamingly distracting to enjoy.

Ha, fair enough, yes it's definitely quite an intense one! Hopefully future eps will change your mind, I'd say the first one is definitely quite jam-packed :) Thanks for the feedback!

PS I'm reserving the right to put 'It's pure liquid migrane' on any DVD box blurb. ;)

all yours, but the 5% royalties are all mine.

Intro is pure liquid migrane...

But once past that - loved it, really loved it, funny & smart.

Now keep the standard up.

regards

playfull

Thanks playfull! We've got seven more episodes in the pipeline (if we can ever get them finished, they take forever!) but hoping to release one a week each Wednesday. With a bit of luck they won't disappoint too much! :)

Yes to the middle one. ;)

It makes posting a wee half-arsed sketch on this site look really mince.I envy your talent and skill.

Maybe I'm easily convinced. I believe you have exceptional talent.

But I hated the content. Really hated it.

Sorry.

What is the demographic - and your definition of cute?

Haha, that's ok Horseradish, it's not for going to be for everyone - thanks for taking the time to watch it though! :) I'd say give it a couple more eps if you're willing and see if it changes your mind - the first ep has a lot of internet reference stuff (because we wanted it to be able to comment on itself while setting up the rough premise) but the other ones don't do that so have quite a different feel :)

PS Demographic? We're just making what we enjoy ;)

PS Thanks Jaicee, that's really kind of you!

It's very good, if a bit exhausting. The only problem with it is that the episode, no matter how good, will never match up to my imagination of what it would be like based on the opening credits.

I thik you should just make loads of fictional credit sequences. Laughing out loud

Haha :D Well everything that's in the opening credits does happen in the show - just not all in that one episode :) I'll chuck up the links to the other eps on here too once they're out so you can see - the next one has a rather unconventional musical number which has been a lot of fun to do ;)

Sootyj, I don't often say this but yu are talking oot of your arse on this one. This was excellant. TV quality, well done guys.

funny as f**k. Made me laugh and Howdy Huha Channel Brother :D

Ok watching it on a full size screen I can see the charms it's funny and not only reminesent of Adult Swim stuff like Aqua Teen Hunger Force but in many ways better.

But I still think it's a little to noisy and colourful, it is distracting.

And the initial thing with the duck revolution is a bit confused, why has he gone back?

If the joke is, it's for no good reason it ain't clear.

But because those niggles happen right at the beginning, they put me off when watching it on my mobile.
