Doghouse Roses Thunder Of The Dawn

See musical comparisons have been made with Natalie Merchant. I am as you were with Camille. Like the video which is very attractive but am not so sure about the song. Is that girl the singer or someone else?

Les Loups Noirs D'Haiti - Jet Biguine

Eh?

Waterloo - Abba from TOTP 1974 - probably their first English show after winning Eurovision.

Now Killer Queen.

On Yesterday.

Eh?

Stealers Wheel on TOTP.

Oh right. Got it.

Have also noted Roger Day. Very keen on all things pirate radio.

Not the singer.

Les Loups are more my thing than Pino; I have a bit of blind spot with Afrobeat.

Thought not.

I like the way Les Loups mix in the modern aircraft sounds with a roots thing.

I like that song, heard it first in Malcolm In The Middle then in Reservoir Dogs.

Hothouse Flowers - Sweet Marie

Nice. I like the gospel tinge to the Hothouse Flowers' records.

That's two from the Mac, Gordon. What was the first one from? I should know but I don't know.

Have always found them comical. Not sure why. Their period of excess? I've also got a very soft spot for them and would like to see them live. Next June perhaps, in Somerset, if the word on the street is right.

Dream Pop. It is not going to change the world but I find the first of these tracks interesting. Two reasons. One, she is the niece of Michel Legrand. Two, it reminds me a lot - mainly in a good way - of the second.

Are they on tour?
