Online Dating Page 5

I joined up to eharmony (mainly, if I am honest, at the time they had an 'app' for it and I can look at my daily matches on the train). I had a few dates, nothing spectacular either way, a pleasant night out.

Must confess to not taking it seriously all the time (when I get to the stage where you have to ask your own questions is 'Pick a number between 1-50' and one of the traits I dis-like in people is 'a hatred of millenary').

You know nothing ventured and that.

Double negatives?

After the illitertates types.....

Doube negative innit.

No it aint lol

I did it, I did it. I signed up. And wow. Online dating is a comedy writer's paradise. My first four messages were from naked people suggesting we partake in a variety of imaginative activities.

When I asked one of them why he had picked me out in particular, he said there was "something about my face that made him think I'd be up for it".

However, I am actually pleasantly surprised - there are some attractive, interesting-sounding men on there. We will see.

Oh my God yes, I have several routines based on the experiences.

Have fun!

We're still meeting in that car park tomorrow night though...aren't we? :(

Thanks! I will. I am dreadfully picky though. I can't cope with knowing self-consciousness: "Well I guess here is where I write things that make you like me" or pretentious bullshit: "I could never do without original and intelligent artistic stimulation".

It does narrow the pool rather.
