Soon... full Sunday lunch expertly cooked by my darling wife.

And as I am a Yorkshireman, we will have home-made Yorkshire puddings as the first course with lashing of fragrant delicious beef gravy over them.

Just time to nip to the pub for a couple of swift postprandial 'half's' before the feast.

Just had toasted chicken sandwiches.

I had an Ethiopian dinner the other night, I have decided I must learn how to make enjira bread.
Ethiopian though it has a wide range of meat dishes, must be the only cuisine where I prefer vegetarian.

Good call, Soots - I love Ethiopian food.

Loads of Ethiopian restaurants in my hood

You're lucky - I only know of two. I love using the bread and eating with my hands.

Yehthat's kinda cool and they're also cheap.

Along with Vietnamese and Columbian it seems to be one of those cuisine which hasn't been made over and ruined and made way more expensive.

Come here - it's great! I'm actually not a big fan of living in London. I live here for work, but I am more of a country girl really. But as I am here, I make sure I enjoy all the goods things it has to offer to make up for the rubbish bits.

Thanks for the good words. I was working there for years and years but then it all changed. As in very dramatically changed. Few do change like Horseradish fortunately.

I'm trying to find the details of a place that you might love. You walk into what looks like - and is - an ordinary office tower block, sign in quietly by the lifts, and then go downstairs.

The expectation is of a normal basement. What you get instead is authentic Little Italy. Pasta and pizzas, Italian waiters, a lot of people. It's very vibrant, totally bizarre, quite cheap and great.
