I have just discovered this woman on YouTube. She is a comedy genius (not sure whether she realises this or not).

So far today, she has taught me how to attract pretty girls, how to date men over 50 and how to use my body language:

She is awesome. I am re-thinking my whole attitude to love.

:O

:(

I think there is. I try really hard to be cynical, but deep down I'm just an old romantic.

My parents are in love. It might be more of a friendship with a touch of nagging these days, but they are in love.

I am a bit of a cynic...but I was just joshing around. The post wasn't meant to be taken seriously, just teasing.

Nice to hear that about your parents. Not every child can claim that about its parents.

I know, I'm lucky. :)

I knew you were a big squidgy marshmallow softie inside, Gordon :)

She just makes me think she's got her own pet semetary and it's not just pets buried there.

I believe the Super Hadron Collider conclusively proved it didn't exist, they did find the hate particle though.

Aparently Lynx are incorporating it into their new fragrance.

A classic. Someone should make a film which combines Midnight Cowboy with The Jolly Boys Outing.

Fred Neil originally recorded that song and he wrote "The Dolphins".

Here's Tim Buckley's version and a song from the best album of the 1990s:

This tampon-talk in the "general general"-thread made me remember this little gem of German TV advertisment of the 90s:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwMI6uO8j1k

The woman says :"The history of menstruation is a history full of misunderstandings..."

Classic!

Tampon commercials could be heard in the UK as far back as the mid 1970s. However, they had to beamed across the sea from pirate Radio Luxembourg. The only reason why the authorities didn't intervene was that they could depict the continentals as, well, different. The open advertising of condoms remained strictly forbidden. It is fascinating to consider this now. Some ten years on from the summer of love, Durex were fighting tooth and nail for advertising hoardings. When the first poster was permitted, I was in Frinton-on-Sea. Some residents were furious about the brazen display of - actually it was a racing car. The word of the product was written in tiny letters on the side. People forget these things now - or never knew them at all.

I can't remember having seen any condom or tampon ads on German speaking TV in recent years. No "smut" for us anymore.

Is that the Eastern European lady's influence?

I didn't mean to derail. Looks like there's some good songs here. Thanks sootyj.

Horseradish mentioned 'Margate' in the "This or That"-thread. That inspired to watch this:
