Haven't been watching the game. Can't really be bothered with friendlies these days and I've got too much on. Might watch highlights at some point though.

It's hardly a friendly. Welbeck got a good clattering. Well done Hutton.

And a great night for Lambert.

The Scots invaded Trafalgar Square earlier.

There was a lot of beer and a lot of kilts. Fortunately I got a photo before there was lots of naked flesh.

They always invade Trafalgar Square. Do they think they're going to topple Nelson or something?

Do they think they're going to topple Nelson or something?

One particularly inebriated chap did try to scale it. I work just by the square and could hear them singing all day.

They left a huge mess though. Quite a few gentlemen felt it necessary to remove their tops as well. Quite shocking for the group of Japanese tourists nearby.

The light reflected off their pasty Scottish skin must have been blinding.

HA HA HA! He's trying the fergie stuff already. Is this kidology or making excuses?

Manchester United manager David Moyes says he finds his club's start to the new season "hard to believe".
Among their first five Premier League games, the champions host Chelsea and Manchester City and Liverpool away.

Moyes said: "I find it hard to believe that's the way the balls came out of the bag, that's for sure."
The Premier League responded by saying: "We have absolutely assured him the process is random and above board. He has accepted those assurances."
A league spokesman also confirmed that Moyes had put his concerns to them directly.
However earlier on Thursday the Scotsman said: "I think it's the hardest start for 20 years that Manchester United have had.
"I hope it's not because Manchester United won the league quite comfortably last year [that] the fixtures have been made much more difficult."

Agreed. I heard that and couldn't believe what I was hearing.

It was tantamount to accusing whoever sets the fixtures as cheating.

You've got to play them sometime so what the hell?

Another tosser in charge at MU.

And as per usual with Man U there are no ramifications. If anyone else had made accusations basically accusing individuals and the EPL of being corrupt there would've been a right furore.

Nevermind, I'm sure I just heard my friend screaming 'Come on Arsenal' on the radio commentary which made me laugh quite a lot.

Oh, Arsene...

Oh, Arsene...

It hurts more knowing Gerry's doing his special dance.

The mighty reds are top of the league. As they say down my way...

EIEIEIO.
Up the football league we go.
When we get promoted, this is what we'll sing..
We are Forest, We are Forest,
Billy is our king.

Has he cracked open some tropical flavoured gum? :P

Lol at Usain Bolt hitting on the reporter (Sonia) interviewing him on radio 5 live.

EDIT: Is anyone else listening to this station? WTF? Was that the bleakest skit I've ever heard?!
