I really liked it. As for being funny enough, well this bit:

SCIENTIST

The truth is, at his point, were really not too sure; but we haven’t ruled out something to do with cat shit.

made me laugh loud enough to alert the neighbours.

Yea pretty good Matt.
I have never seen Big Train. I liked your sketch. I think it is a tad more visual.
I really like Amanda.
I love the way men can get a female character so right.

I too found this bit the most amusing.

But "made me laugh loud enough to alert the neighbours"? :O

Really?

Well written and a good read.

I have thin walls. But come to think of it I might be confusing what happened when I stubbed my toe.

This sketch is head and shoulders above 99% of sketches that I read on here.

That is all.

I thought this was excellent and I too love the catshit line. Very good stuff.

Well, thanks for all the comments, and Im glad some people liked it. i know its quite a sedate piece really, and quite a lot of the humour is in the visual, but I like writing these sort of bits, rather than just the wham-bam-big gag and out style sketches all the time.
