R.I.P Waggy.

One of the Wolves greats and one of the best ever to wear a number eleven shirt.

I remember him. They had a good team in those days.

Indeed. I was there.

1 Gary Pierce
2 Geoff Palmer
3 Derek Parkin
4 Mike Bailey (c)
5 Frank Munro
6 John McAlle
7 Alan Sunderland
8 Kenny Hibbitt
9 John Richards
10 Derek Dougan
11 Dave Wagstaffe

I got my ticket late, on the Thursday I think so I need transport.

I worked in a bank at the time and one of our customers was a firm called Albion Coaches. They had a private party of about 35 going down so the Gaffer said I could hitch a ride.

A few miles from Wembley the driver stopped the coach and covered all mention of Albion with tape. Just in case !

What happened to (the dark haired) Phil Parkes?

What happened to (the dark haired) Phil Parkes?

As I recall he was injured and Pierce was called upon having only made a few appearances. It was his birthday and he was brilliant making a number of wonderful saves.

So what happened tonight? (I honestly don't know)

Quite refreshing.

Wos the M for?

Sorry - just saw you lost 1-0 on Tuesday. Genuinely sorry as always (since the days of Dougan being the first Chelsea game I saw) have had a soft spot for the Old Gold.

I'll OAPM you

Ah!

Rumour goes, Selhurst Park will be renamed the 12BET Stadium. 71 days in the Prem, not one ball kicked and we've already sold a huge slice of our history down the river. Disgusted and embarrassed.

Sad news but very typical of the borough.

If it's any consolation, Kitkat Crescent was survived. It came and went faster than the average manager.

I'm just hoping the same will happen with my Premiership club although much of the damage done there is irreversible.

I stick 4 fingers up at that lot.
