Oh, yes, his mate from Back To Class. Had even more gel in his hair than I do.

Hey Steve how's that site going where you rate monkeys throwing poop at each other?

It's written in the instructions - please post only your entry & vote.
It's one of the reasons why I like the Skatcomp.
If you want to give critique go to.... what's the name of that forum again?
Sorry I forgot it's all about the art

Here's the thread. It's a corker.
Wow..that's erm...wow.
Having said all the above, I do like to see a bit of uumph in a critique thread. I might go back to mine and tell everyone they don't know what the f**k they're talking about and obviously don't appreciate art.
Hmmm.

note: 'command' is the mac shortcut, not sure what the windows equivalent will be - it tells you under Format>Paragraph Styles>Heading.
This is very clever. Did you make it yourself?
Its interesting the Dan Peirce is definitely the one where sootyj went to the dark side
My advice to all you youngsters just starting out with your lovely wee attempts at comedy is be critical but never ever be patronising. Is that alright, kids? Now run along and give it your best shot for Uncle Jai Cee and don't worry your pretty little heads if it's not up to scratch . Jolly well done for trying .God loves a trier ..Hugs and kisses.

You're all free to start your own comps too. Just be aware that if too many comps are running, it may get confusing.
Personally, I like the simplicity of the current skit comp but there's always room for suggestion.
I think the comp is perfect in design, I just think it would be more interesting if people made observations about all the entries when they voted, instead of just naming their choice. And, obviously, I reckon it would be great if more people entered and voted, but that's up to them, I'm not going to harangue anyone.

Oh, fair enough. I read that as "Don't engage in protracted conversations and confuse the issue" - ie, you can only post an entry post and a voting post, but the latter can be as long and involved as you like. Still, if I'm wrong, I'll shut up, and I won't do it any mroe.

To be fair Sooty, you were accused of being "stupid" because you didn't realise the voiceover only extended to 10% of the piece, rather than the 20% you had thought.
I wouldn't have put up with that. I think you were remarkably restrained.
For all that chap's pomp and bluster, a quick Google reveals that his sitcom is yet to grace our TV screens.

My favourite bit was when BTEC marks were brought into it.

That was quite special. I've also read something by a man called James Williams, that was equally fascinating.
Critique just isn't the same anymore
James Williams was a decent enough chap. I seem to remember him getting very protective over his sitcom though!
The other corker from James who is wowing them as Toad nowadays was the gardening man monologue, stage show novel and film

It's not really that clever but I'm happy for you to think that
Here's another useful tool that I've just stumbled across
