I used Tesco because it's nearer but I prefer Morrison's because they take a little more care in their products and concentrate on groceries. Unlike Tesco, who are jack of all trades.

I can't quite understand the fuss about Waitrose. I've tried it 3 or 4 times (and have now given up) and either end up disappointed in something that seemed different but tastes like crap (not that I've tried that, before you ask), or feeling that the item's no different from any other supermarket's version. Also a lot of their stuff is ridiculously overpriced.
Keeps the hoi polloi out, though.
The staff in Waitrose are second to none too. Always polite and professional unlike other supermarkets.
I go to any supermarket. One week it will be Asda the other Farmfoods.
I like any supermarket.
I'd shop in Fortnum & Mason everyday if I could.
Safeway was my favourite, then Presto came in with in store bakery and orange juice machines. They smelled great. Both shops gone. Now not so fussed, Asda for prices on pasta, half the price of others but they annoy me with how much foreign stuff they have. Morrisons' restaurants are good, Tesco don't even bother anymore. Surrey used to be ruled by mighty Sainsbury's, now it's not the case.

That's the reason Sainsbury's exists, to keep the scrubbers out of Waitrose.

Sometimes in the Wolverhampton branch I swear I'm the only one speaking English.
Tesco's
I may have already mentioned this, but I used to quite like the idea of living in a supermarket. In a specially adapted backroom. Or in the crawlspace above the shopfloor. Not a 24 hour supermarket, though. You need a bit of privacy.

In other news, Chip's package from Columbia marked 'gift' was delivered safely today.

I must put in a word for Morrison's here - they're always very helpful. Tell me why Tesco staff put stacking shelves before letting the customers have access to said shelves? From Inverness to Glasgow to Campbeltown, shelf stacking seems to be their priority.
Lidl puts staking shelves before serving on the tills, it's mental.
I worked in a Co-op supermarket when I was 16. Hated it and left after a few weeks. I think I was paid £2.27 an hour.
