Pearly Gates

Anyone know the status of this pilot? It was screened before Execs March 2012, wouldn't they have come to a decision by now?

I don't think the BBC want a full series, hence why they haven't ordered one. Shame really as it did sound good but David Jason's previous comedy The Royal Bodyguard was a flop!

These things can be incredibly slow moving at times, so not having heard anything more of the project does not necessarily mean it's dead - but almost 18 months on, I literally haven't heard the slightest peep about it either way.

Thanks for the replies. You'd think David Jason being involved would've speeded things up. I'm working on my own funeral parlour based sitcom, when I saw it on your Pilots list my heart sank a bit. But your post cheered me up, Aaron...
