They totally would. He's only against them so much because he doesn't know how nice they are. Once he gets used to the cat he'll end up liking it.

I think he would - he would just hate the cute kitty ruining our sofa.
Not all kitties scratch sofas. You can train them not to.
Unfortunately - every single person I know with a kitty has had their furniture/stairs destroyed. Not a great argument for getting a kitty.
Hmm. Maybe you could get its claws trimmed? (NOT removed obviously).
I don't know if cats get upset if their claws are trimmed or if they don't even notice.
And scratching posts sometimes work.
Anyway, we're off track here. This thread is all about me.
What kind of dress have you got. Flouncy or floofy?
Secret!
You tease.
It's actually pretty elegant. I think it will be a shock to those who see me in it.
Funz! Hope a select few of us (ie me) will see a photo after the event.

Go to the RSPCA and get a grown up kitty. I got mine as an adult and ne doesn't destroy things (unless he's really angry at me).
He also doesn't need human contact that much - but I suspect that is because he has endured years of me picking him up and squoooshing him with love. He's not a fan, but I will show him I love him, whether he likes it or not.

But you and the kitty are as one, a whole, a unit, surely?
