Jokepit and Grimnian promotions?

Hey guys

Just a quick question anyone know much about this company Jokepit?

I can't seem to find any information on them online, I have uploaded a few videos to them but stopped doing so as I figured it may be taking traffic that can go through my YouTube channel instead.

However they are looking for interns to work for them on Twitter and I applied a few days ago, they sent me a message saying would I like to do it and I replied sure, but since then I have not heard anything back from them.
I also noticed that they post on here a bit but signed off on one of their posts with "I love chortle" so either not paying attention or trying to stir things up!

Also on a similar subject has anyone used Grimnian promotions to publicise themselves, they re-tweet a lot of my tweets and do it for free which is great (although it never seems to drive any traffic to my YouTube channel even though they have thousands of followers) but I found a few people online who weren't so happy with them.

Any information is appreciated.

I dunno that site looks decidedly low rent and its videos have lowish viewing figures.

I could be wrong but it looks like it's driving traffic to gain advertising.

My thoughts also Sooty, I noticed that they also suggested to someone who's work was very poor on here to upload it to them so it does seem they are not particularly bothered about the quality on their site.

But if I can get a paid job in comedy through them I'd still do it, I'd sell my soul for it to be honest.

I would really like to hear if anyone has benefited or the opposite from uploading things to them, or anyone who is involved with their site.

Do they pay?

Honestly I'd go for the Ideas Tap thread you seem more their cup of tea.

I'd hunt around a bit more. I did a lot better when I tried selling comedy to people who aren't funny if that makes any sense.

I assumed there would be a small salary, but I don't know, it seems strange to me they have taken so long to reply to me after the original contact, but I don't want to harass them however in my opinion it shows lack of organisation.

What's the ideas tap Sooty? I have not heard of that.

Generally if you like a site and they seem legit approach them directly.

I thought internships were normally paid, a very little amount like an apprentice hairdresser, but I am rather naieve with these sort of things.
