Just out of interest, what in your opinion is the worst British Sitcom of all time. For me, it has to be Fresh Fields.
Britain's worst ever sitcom
I'll just add, Two Pints is not eligible for nomination, or this will become one very, very boringly short thread.
I thought 'Two Pints' was brilliant when it first started, but as the series got on, the charactors became more predictable and boring. I do love Louise though. It's the kind of show that was good for the first two series but then died out, yet a new series is on know.
Worst ever........Mad About Alice??
Grownups.
Come back Mrs Noah
A small problem
Dare you duel trivia with the Triviatrix.
Actually I hated Bread, and pretty much everything creepy, self hating zoophile Carla Lane came up with
Come Back Mrs Noah. Is that the one by David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd set in the future. Never seen it, but wouldn't mind trying to hunt it down. From It Aint Half Hot Mum were Donald Hewlett and Michael Knowles (they played Colonel Reynolds and Captain Ashwood). They were both twits in IAHHM, and I believe they played the same roles in outer space in CBMN. They also played the same role for a third time as upper-class twits in You Rang M'Lord.
Yes Jack, that's the one - and I have it.
Does it deserve the bad reputation it has?

Ok are you the DG of BBC, God, the architect from the Matrix.
Because that film never came out on video, and was broadcast before video became widly available.
Wow you guys are good getting Mrs Noah, but what about A Small Problem?

Afraid I only got it recently and haven't watched yet. I'll try and remember to put it on this weekend and get back to you!

Maybe ... Maybe not.

I've not got it at the moment, but if you're interested then I'll see what I can do?
Brittas empire. It was a CBBC reject that somehow escaped from that timeslot and inexplicably went on for years. The jokes were weaker than a very milky cuppa and the actors all mugged and over-enunciated as if they were doing kids TV. Without Chris Barrie they could never have made more than 1 series.
I liked Chris Barrie in it. It was like going to an al night newsagents when pissed, and buy toffee popcorn, and oily muffins.
Wrong, wrong but strangely satisfying,
n.b. favorite line
"Gordon was a Samartian, for one day, they called it black wednesday,"
Prefered it to later Red Dwarf, fight!
I do like Chris Barrie, sootyj, but not in this. He was joining in with the other actors who were so over the top. I agree with you about Red Dwarf, though, it looked like the budget increased and the no. of jokes decreased as the years went on.
Loads of contenders but the one that sticks out more than most has to be 'After You've Gone'.
