Glad to hear it. You'll wear yourself out with all that funking you're doing these days, Gordon.

Like meditation, this.

Yes a truly great album. Like it lots. There aren't any mosquitoes on it though.

Updates

Watsky was on Arrested Development wasn't he? I don't really know him but it does sound as if he is doing something slightly political. Wonders will never cease. Very much liked the Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts track. Was new to me although I know their names. 4,6,8 - Can't say fairer than that of course. Funkadelic and Imagine too. I haven't heard the Beatles' Anthology 3 but it's bound to be good.

I may owe Chappers an e-mail but I think we got the clarity anyhow. All hail the Boz. Still have Ghost Dog to do. How did we all ever manage to survive in lives less crucial?

:)

Reminds me of finally buying Fela Kuti stuff.

...and, this makes you realize where the later Talking Heads got their sound from.

Yes!

10cc was such an amazing band. Great musicians with their tongues firmly in cheek. Marvelous songwriters, especially Gouldman who wrote many classic singles before his time with cc. After it he had hits with Andrew Gold as Wax (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0g5gKp2BHg) Godley & Cream were also good.

Endless source of talent. Almost like the Beatles...but underrrated.

I think Sheet Music and Original Soundtrack were brilliant albums.

I think when Godley and Creme they were finished although Gouldman was a classic songwriter for the Hollies and Yardbirds among others and Eric Stewart was in the Mindbenders.

Oooh - and Hotlegs were good!

Thanks! Enjoyed that. Never heard of them before. Doesn't seem to be that much info about them, but found this:

Were you a fan at the time, or did you discover them later?
