Women have been disappearing from streets across the globe without a trace, and Major Bourdon has identified the culprit: Zeta, an alien being, who is brainwashing, training, and imbuing them with supernatural powers to become part of her Angvian clan. Her purpose? As yet unknown.
The suspicious movements of Bourdon, in turn, are being watched by secretive British government security agency Department 5, with agent James Word assigned to track his movements and discover his plans, lest he be plotting to join Zeta and seize power for his own ends.
Word recounts the story of his unbelievable mission to beautiful office secretary Miss Olsen: the striptease artist, the girls - and the large van that acts as a most improbable transportation device between Earth and Zeta's base, wherever it is. Another world? Another galaxy? An alternative time plane beyond normal human perception?
