The Oldest Comedy Club In Britain is a documentary about the iconic comedy venue Downstairs At The King's Head, which has held comedy nights in the same venue since 1981.

The film includes interviews with some of the nation's most famous comedians, including Seann Walsh, Nick Helm, Roisin Conaty and is presented by Stewart Lee. We'll hear from the man behind the club, notorious on the comedy circuit, its owner and booker, Peter Grahame, who has taken notes on every new comedian since the club's inception!

Filmed by award winning comedian and filmmaker Joe Bor (Ian Cognito: A Life And A Death On Stage and Clown), who performed his own first gig at the iconic venue. Packed full of routines, funny stories, cinematic shots of the beautiful location and a story of survival!
