Brothers Mike and Tony Carter have just got Soho nightclub and strip joint The Blues Club up and running thanks to a significant financial investment from their ill Uncle Fred.
Unfortunately all is not as well as it seems - the club is so successful it has attracted the attention of a bullying protection racketeer by the name of Roscoe, and the girls on the stage quickly prove to be near-mutinous with jealousy over their top-billed colleague Mary Millington, dubbed 'Queen of the Blues'.
With Roscoe's heavies, Eddie and Ricky, turning up every night to scare and pressure them into relenting, the brothers never the less attempt to continue business alone - but for how long can they hold out?
