Whitechapel tailors Manny Cohen and Patrick Kelly - an English Jew and an Irish Catholic - complement each other perfectly in their craft, but are more often than not in disagreement about something: usually money or religion!
See their adventures over a number of weeks, ranging from a robbery that clears out their workroom to attempts to save for a (cheap) holiday in the sun; Patrick's attempt to get some extra help by hiring a new girl to work alongside them; the death of a dear fellow member of the local community; and a very hopeful flutter on the horses to dealing with the women who have their sights very much set on each man!
