In Fabric is a distinctive and haunting tale that blends Giallo-infused horror with absurdist dark humour, to ghostly effect.

Set against the backdrop of a busy winter sales period at a mysterious Thames Valley department store, Dentley & Soper's, the film follows the journey of a cursed but strikingly beautiful blood-red dress as it passes from person to person, with devastating consequences.

Bank clerk and single mother Sheila is the first to buy the dress, to wear on a promising dinner date. After a less-than-successful evening she finds tensions reach new heights with her teenage son and his older girlfriend. However, it's not until she attempts to was the dress that the truly peculiar begins to emerge.

Returning to the shop with another ill-fitting item, she's alarmed to discover that her dress is the exact one modelled in the store's catalogue: and that the model wearing it was killed in a road accident shortly after the photograph was taken. When a series of bizarre reprimands begin at the bank, and after an unprovoked attack by a wild dog - not to mention a series of haunting dreams and - Sheila begins to wonder if the dress itself is the purveyor of such misfortune.
