Mother's Pride film reveals cast
Filming has wrapped in Somerset and Wiltshire on new comedy drama film Mother's Pride.
Created by the writers, directors and producers of Finding Your Feet and Fisherman's Friends, the movie is set against the backdrop of a West Country pub.
The producers explain: "Mother's Pride tells the story of a failing pub, a divided community and a grieving family whose lives are changed by brewing real ale and entering the Great British beer awards."
Doc Martin star Martin Clunes and The Inbetweeners actor James Buckley are amongst those in key roles in the film, playing characters called Mike and Jake Harley.
The cast list also features Hollyoaks actor Jonno Davies as Cal Harley, with Gabriella Wilde as Abi, Mark Addy as Paxman, Lana Moorcroft as Romy, Luke Treadaway as Edward Pritchard and Miles Jupp as Jeremy.
Also appearing in the film are Lola-Rose Maxwell, Josie Lawrence, Karl Collins, Stephen Leask and Emily Lloyd-Saini.
Fisherman's Friends creators Nick Moorcroft and Meg Leonard have written the film, with Moorcroft directing.
Mother's Pride is expected to be in cinemas in 2025.
