David is new to London and while desperately trying to adapt to the chaos of the capital, his life is turned upside down. He's been struggling to find a place to live, which causes his impatient girlfriend to cruelly dump him. This leaves David in a race against time to find a place to live or face the very real risk of being homeless.

House viewings are a brutal and very personal experience, it is all about first impressions for both sides. For David, it is about finding somewhere that puts a stop to the uncertainty, a place where he can settle and get his life back on track.

The problem: he only has 20 minutes to convince potential housemates that he is the man for them... or it's on to the next one!

Early Bird is a worst-case scenario dark comedy about the entirely ludicrous nature of flatsharing. A process that begins with inviting dozens of strangers into your house for a brief chat, picking one and then hoping that they are not crazy.

Flatsharing is a popularity contest. Don't be the bottom of the barrel.
