Charles Hawtrey and Terry-Thomas are reportedly amongst the singing and dancing ensemble in the final musical sequence of the film.

Cheer Up! was written by Michael Barringer, based on a story idea by Stanley Lupino.

Although credited as Wilfrid and John 'Harmon', the surname of the characters played by Kenneth Kove and Gerald Barry, respectively, are seen written in the film as 'Harman'.
