Calendar Girls trivia

A number of the original, real life 'calendar girls' made cameo appearances in the film as members of the rival W.I. group from Highgyll: Angela Baker, Beryl Bamforth, Christine Clancy, Ros Fawcett, Lynda Logan and Tricia Stewart.

Terry Logan, the husband of Lynda Logan, the original Miss January, was the photographer for the real calendar.

A stage production based on the film was launched in 2008, transferring to the West End in 2009 and continuing to tour the UK until the end of 2012. Amongst its casts were many A-list names of British female comic acting.
