Dara O Briain: School Of Hard Sums

The show in which Dara O Briain tries to make maths fun is back for a third series. The publicity hasn't been that smooth, with the host's interviews being sidetracked into the women-on-panel-shows topic. Awkwardly, there's no women in sight here as he's joined once again by expert Marcus du Sautoy plus guests Kevin Bridges and Peter Serafinowicz. Tuesday, 10pm, Dave. Guide

Outnumbered. Image shows from L to R: Ben (Daniel Roche), Jake (Tyger Drew-Honey), Karen (Ramona Marquez), Sue (Claire Skinner), Pete (Hugh Dennis). Copyright: Hat Trick Productions

Outnumbered

This looks set to be the last ever episode of the family-based sitcom, so tune in and appreciate what has been a mighty fine 7 years on our screens for the Brockman household. There's a few minor plot points to resolve: Ben has a crisis of confidence over his starring role in Spartacus - The Musical and Karen still hopes her escaped hamster will be found. Wednesday, 9pm, BBC One. Guide

Inside No. 9. Image shows from L to R: Felicity (Julia Davis), Tony (Steve Pemberton), Jim (Reece Shearsmith), Laura (Lyndsey Marshal). Copyright: BBC

Inside No. 9

An acting masterclass in this week's episode of the darkly comic anthology series. Set behind the scenes at a theatre, The Understudy focuses on timid Jim, a reserve actor who perhaps doesn't quite have the confidence to step up to become a leading man if he were ever asked. But maybe if he gets some assistance... Wednesday, 10pm, BBC Two. Guide

Birds Of A Feather. Image shows from L to R: Sharon Theodopolopodous (Pauline Quirke), Dorien Green (Lesley Joseph), Tracey Stubbs (Linda Robson). Copyright: Alomo Productions / Retort

Birds Of A Feather

You'd be forgiven for thinking this sitcom series had finished a couple of weeks ago... but there's actually still this episode to broadcast. It was delayed a few weeks due to the football getting the way. Are the birds destined to part? Probably not if we're honest, because the ratings have been good so it can't be long before we get news of another series? Thursday, 8:30pm, ITV. Guide

Jonathan Creek. Image shows from L to R: Polly Creek (Sarah Alexander), Jonathan Creek (Alan Davies). Copyright: BBC

Jonathan Creek

Last week's opening episode of the new series of the comic detective show met a mixed reaction. How will this week's more focused story fare? It revolves around a retired local psychic who inadvertently makes the most amazing and impossible prediction of his career. There's additional information in our guide. Friday, 9pm, BBC One. Guide

Blandings. Image shows from L to R: Beach (Tim Vine), Connie (Jennifer Saunders), Clarence (Timothy Spall), Freddie (Jack Farthing). Copyright: Mammoth Screen

Blandings

More fun from the PG Wodehouse characters. This time Clarence has grown a preposterous beard and so it is up to poor Beach the ever put-upon butler to help ensure the world never gets to see it. Jack Farthing, who plays the always upbeat young Freddie, steals some more scenes again. Sunday, 6:30pm, BBC One. Guide

My Mad Fat Diary, Impractical Jokers, Pramface, Bluestone 42, Stella, Edge Of Heaven, Duck Quacks Don't Echo, The Perfect Morecambe And Wise and Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle are some of the other new episodes on this week.
