Here's our TV selections for the 14th to 20th April 2014...

Rev

The ecclesiastical sitcom continues. How will Adam deal with the fact he kissed someone other than his wife? Things aren't simple elsewhere either: the position of church treasurer is vacant and Adam has found the ideal candidate to turn their dire finances around. Unfortunately he has a conviction for viewing child abuse images online. Monday, 10pm, BBC Two. Guide

The Michael McIntyre Chat Show

It's already been announced that the BBC has ordered a second series of this show following strong ratings, but there's this final episode from Series 1 to broadcast first. Sir Bruce Forsyth talks about his career (in terms of headlines, well-timed to coincide with the news he's stepping away from Strictly). James Corden and modern artist Tracey Emin are the other guests. Monday, 10:35pm, BBC One. Guide

Some People With Jokes

We've been enjoying this series, albeit with slightly un-easy feelings about how some jokes being recycled by the public are delivered without any credit to the original writers. The people taking part this week are dog owners from around this fair isle. Expect some shaggy dog stories. Thursday, 10:30pm, BBC Four. Guide

Have I Got News For You. Image shows from L to R: Ian Hislop, Paul Merton. Copyright: BBC / Hat Trick Productions

Have I Got News For You

HIGNFY is bringing in the viewers again - it's back to being the most watched panel show. Jeremy Clarkson is the guest host this week, whilst Henning Wehn is one of the guests. The UK-based German comedian has been putting in some great TV appearances recently - his profile is really growing. Friday, 9pm, BBC One. Guide

Sniggers With Attitude. Image shows from L to R: Marlon Davis, Funmbi Omotayo, Ola, Jason Lewis. Copyright: Family Pictures

Sniggers With Attitude

New TV channel London Live is continuing to pump out comedy. Our pick from their schedule for this week is this sketch show in which Jason Lewis brings his urban skewed comedy to the screen. It's only a pilot at the moment, but fingers crossed they go on to make a series. Friday, 9:30pm, London Live. Guide

The Trip. Image shows from L to R: Steve (Steve Coogan), Rob (Rob Brydon). Copyright: Baby Cow Productions / Arbie

The Trip

Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon visit Viareggio in Tuscany where Shelley's body was washed ashore. They have lunch at Trattoria Albana. How similar is Rob Brydon to Lord Byron? That's the question at the heart of the preview clip released for this episode - you can view that in our guide. Friday, 10pm, BBC Two. Guide

The Graham Norton Show. Graham Norton. Copyright: So Television

The Graham Norton Show

Graham Norton's sofa has two big comedy guests this week. Ricky Gervais is still on the promotional circuit, this time appearing to plug his Channel 4 show Derek. Ronnie Corbett is a notable guest - and he'll be appearing partly to help rubbish the reports that he is retiring from showbiz. French actress Juliette Binoche and Irish pop star Imelda May are also on the show. Friday, 10:20pm, BBC One. Guide

The Guess List. Rob Brydon. Copyright: 12 Yard Productions

The Guess List

Rob Brydon presents Episode 2. As the confusion over last week's final round showed, the format for The Guess List is pretty weak, but Brydon really makes it work anyway with his wit and charm. Deborah Meaden, Julian Clary, Larry Lamb, Melanie C and David Haye are the guests. Saturday, 9:30pm, BBC One. Guide

Morecambe & Wise In Pieces. Penelope Keith. Copyright: BBC

Morecambe And Wise In Pieces

This clip-show based series is being spread out across the year. Episode 4 pops up this Easter weekend, with the topic/title being 'Leading Men'. Penelope Keith presents clips of some of the men who were brave enough to appear on the show alongside the legendary entertainers. As we know, embarrassment for the guests would often be planned. Sunday, 7pm, BBC Two. Guide

All About TWO. Dara O Briain. Copyright: BBC

All About Two

The 50th anniversary of BBC Two comes this Sunday (20th April), and here's the first in a number of programmes that will be celebrating the fact. Hosted by Dara O Briain and Pointless star Richard Osman, this is a one-off panel show all about the channel's output. It's a long programme: 100 minutes in total. Sunday, 9pm, BBC Two. Guide
