Rhod Gilbert's Lookalike Cats

Rhod Gilbert and The Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst. Rhod Gilbert

We asked Rhod Gilbert to explain the title of his stand-up show...[/i]

"The title 'Rhod Gilbert and the Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst' came about because an irritating fan was always bringing me gifts which related to the title of my shows. So I called this year's show 'Rhod Gilbert and the Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst' in an attempt to stop him bringing anything. It backfired. Badly."

"In trying to stop one annoying berk, I seem to have encouraged everyone else. I've had hundreds of the damn things, most of them rubbish. Here is a small sample of the cats I've been sent. This is a plea to everyone: please stop sending me them!"

"I've been sent so many cats that supposedly look like pop stars that I'm thinking of pitching a new TV show called Stars In Their Cat's Eyes..."
