Found! Comic guitar tapes from 80s 'Rock God' Kenny Star interview

Kenny Star. Martin Collins

You'd be forgiven for not knowing who Kenny Star is. But dig a little deeper in to the hallowed tomes of rock history and you'll discover a man who played second rhythm guitar in 80s not-so-super-group 'The Sideways Smilers'.

Like so many 'stars', Kenny's light burned brightly but briefly and after contracting a particularly nasty case of Peruvian jungle crabs from his four-time ex-wife, Casey James, Kenny was hospitalised from the groin down, and quickly drifted away in to further obscurity.

However, BCG has just un-earthed a 1986 interview from the hallowed pages of MNE Magazine's 'has-beens' special, and we've scanned it in just for you!

As you can read above, Kenny Star recorded an instructional video series called Kenny Star Plays Guitar. The comedy sketch group This Glorious Monster happens to have a betamax recorder amongst their kit, and have managed to get them up on YouTube - Take a look:
