David Mitchell's Soapbox - Series 4

David Mitchell's Soapbox. David Mitchell

Series 4 of David Mitchell's Soapbox, the hit web series which features the star of Peep Show and Would I Lie To You? sounding off about everything and anything, is now here.

The good news for fans of David Mitchell is that Season IV is a mammoth 22 episodes long, so there's lots of new content to enjoy this summer. There'll be a new episode released each Thursday. You'll be able to find them all on British Comedy Guide, and also other platforms like Facebook and iTunes, and via Apple & Android phone apps.

Each episode sees David Mitchell get on his soapbox (well, smartly animated background) to sound off about a subject that is getting under his skin - from carb-free diets and gangster films, to Downton Abbey and the fact that all men's shoes seem to be pointy these days.

This new series is sponsored by computer manufacturers Dell. Together with producers ChannelFlip, they are soon launching a competition to find "the next David Mitchell". Launching on the 5th July, the competition will invite viewers to submit their own comedy videos for a chance to win a year's development deal with ChannelFlip Media, including coaching with David Mitchell himself, plus a rather cool £10,000 cash prize! Jamie Lennox, ChannelFlip's Content Director says "I'm always excited to work with David on Soapbox, but this season's looking particularly tremendous: when you have to keep cutting camera because the crew's laughing, that's a great sign. By Take 8 that can get pretty irritating, but it's still a great sign..."
