And it's terribly difficult typing this with a Snoops on my lap. Snoops, one of my dogs, is a teensy Jack Russell. He’s blind. He thinks I’m gorgeous! I think I’m in love.

I’ve been writing novels (rom com featuring real people—ta dah!—and now have an agent! Yesss!) and also attempting comedy scripts for a rather long time (ahem). I did once get to the second round of the BBC sitcom comp and therefore, being totally insane, I keep trying. I live in the small town of Droitwich in the UK, where I strive to stop my witty son typing – AND THEN I WOKE UP – halfway through my scripts. I write comedy, because I think laughter is the best therapy when life is doing the crappy things it tends to while your busy making plans and, whilst I prefer to try to portray my characters as rounded human beings with all their rich eccentricity and emotional fragility, I do like to think I leave the reader with that essential feel-good factor. A laugh or two—even better!
