I am a comedy writer and my speciality is gags and topical comedy. Until a few months ago I had not done any comedy. A life event made me realise that all I want to do is take the Micky. It is the meaning of life for me. Yes I am also a philosopher and know quite a few survival tips that would be useful if you ever got stranded on a dessert island. That is not strictly comedy but not everyone can take Ray Mears as their luxury item on desert island discs.

I am also a stand up comic. Have a look on My Space if you would like to come to a gig.

I write sketches and parody songs and am also writing a book. Also I would love to have a go at team comedy writing. I have done that before as a favour for a mate and I loved it. So collaborations are welcome.

I have been trying to find out how to send stuff to shows like 'Have I Got News For You' and 'never mind the buzzcocks' and 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross'. Or any other topical comedy show. So if anyone knows how to get material looked at I would love to know how.

My favourite comedies are The Office, (I love that scene when Garath and his computer made are talking about Bruce Lee working undercover for the triads) Actually there is loads I like but you don't want a list do you so? it would be easier to say what I don't like. That would be Open University. It is shit. Its only the beards that make it interesting.
