Pete Fogg

Hi My name is Peter Fogg I am a registered nurse and psychology graduate who has decided to spend the next four years of my life attempting to convince people I can write comedy. I have been a comedy fanatic for the vast majority of my life ( not when I was one, two, three, etc that would be stupid). I like all sorts of comedy Laurel and Hardy, Buster Keaton, Rising Damp, Steptoe and Son, Vic and Bob, Only Fools, Alan Partridge, Inbetweeners, Peep Show, Stuart Lee's Comedy Vehicle, HIGNFY I could go on but won't.
I have always been interested in comedy I have wrote a sitcom with another bloke called 'Talking Shop' which Hat-Trick productions said ' Had it's charm' but was 'contrived' I'm not bitter as this was about 10 years ago and I've forgotten about it now. As I meander through life I always come back to comedy so approximately a month ago (November 2016) I decided to make a concerted effort to become a comedy writer, in my first attempts I sent spoof articles to online satire magazine Druid's Loom entitled:
Foreign Secretary Gast-Flabbered.
Royal Marriage in Crisis: Licence Fee set to Rocket.
Ken Dodd triggers A tickle 50.
Trump Hardware Launches new Prejudice Adhesive: No More Mexicans.

Please feel free to critique my work even if negative (but constructive). I am interested in any tips information from like minded people which will help me become a better writer and find paid work (the holy grail) and in turn I promise to do the same, in a kinda Hannibal Lecter quid pro quo situation.
