Starting to get a modicum of success as my understanding of a few current affairs shows improves. I was included in the scripts for two episodes of the September 2019 series of BBC Newsjack, but didn't make the edit. Since late November 2019, I am also contributing to BBC Scotland's 'Breaking the News.' I've had a few jokes broadcast so far. Which was nice.

Away from topical comedy, I submitted my pilot script, 'The Waiting Room' to the Sitcom Geeks Sitcom Challenge. Feedback received from friends and family was overwhelmingly positive. But, that's probably to be expected! I am really pleased with the final script, and am glad to have finally written something I had the idea for quite a while ago. I didn't make it to the long-list of this competition. But, as it wasn't technically a sitcom, I didn't really hold out much hope, but I hope it gave James and Dave a laugh or two nonetheless.

I am also one third of the 'JAM Ink' comedy writing team along with Adam and Jamie. I helped them write six episodes of "Backpackers" which got some excellent feedback from industry professionals.

We are currently working on further projects which we are looking to send out in the hope of attracting an agent. We were told by Rachelle Constant at Clerkenwell Films and Michelle Farr at Expectation, that our work was of a good enough standard to seek representation.

Away from the Team, I am also working on other ideas for pilots as well as finally getting around to writing a children's book that I had the idea for almost a decade ago! As long as I eventually finish it, then it will be fine, right?!
