My name is Matthew McKeown. I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a 2:1 hons. degree in English in 2008, and I am currently studying for an MA in Writing at the same institute.

At the moment I'm working alongside another writer on drafting a six episode sitcom which has received positive feedback from several established screen writers in recent months.

I have also written several minutes of stand-up comedy, which I will be trying out at several open mic venues across Liverpool in the near future.
