When I started doing stand-up people would tell me, "you need to find your style, find what feels right for you". In my mind I was a wordsmith; a Stephen Fry type of wit with a keen eye for observation and anecdotes that people hang onto like a much loved garment.

Turns out talking about wanking and fannies is easier, so that's what I'm going with.
