In the main..I am an songwriter...But as I have a background for telling a joke really well..I tend to make a short story of jokes for some reason..hang them out a bit..never been one for "one liners" myself.There is times I pluck inspiration for songs out of nowhere..now I am finding I am doing that more frequently with humour..it can be an advert or a situation..and I can write something really funny about it..and with my background in how to deliver a hook or chorus in a song..The punchline comes quite natural to me.The material is really written with a live audience in mind.I'm told I am funny enough to do stand up..no way..but I would not mind making a few extra pennies writing the stuff.
