Much , much prefer the comedies and characters from now very remote times. As a guide , Raymond Huntley , Colin Gordon , and Guy Middleton come to mind ; but these days , even their own shadows shouldn't recognise them ; but I suppose that's where I'd prefer to live : among the shadows. If the life was happier , I shouldn't need the comedy; so , enjoy the fiction ; if you're life is as happy as that makes you , congratulations , you're blessed.
