Donna Gray is an actor and writer based in Kent. She began her career as a dancer on TV shows, KMKY with Alan Partridge, TOTP, BBC's Pride and Prejudice and played comedy cameo roles on Harry Enfield & Chums, Canned Carrot and TFI Friday. She also toured with Bradley Walsh, Bobby Davro, Jim Davidson and Harry Hill before hanging up her shoes to bring up her children.
Donna's writing career began with 'High Kicks' - The Essential Guide to Working as a Dancer published by A & C Black Ltd (now Bloomsbury). She then went on to study an MA in Acting at Drama Centre - University of the Arts London. She wrote and performed her first one-woman play 'Pamela's Permanent Wave' in 2014 marking it's debut at Brighton Fringe before being awarded Arts Council funding to develop it into a three-hander and rewriting it as part of an all female collaboration.
'Pamela's Palace' was produced by Imagination Workshop and went on to gain critical acclaim at Edinburgh Fringe 2018/19, Adelaide Fringe 2019 and MICF 2019, where it received a Green Room Award nomination. The much-anticipated UK dates in 2020 were cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Donna has also just finished filming a pilot for Greenman.tv playing Dr.Joy in mockumentary 'The Joy of Medicine'
