Daniel McLaughlin

Currently i am a studying Accounting, however i have always had an interest in comedy. I have only been watching stand up for the last few years, within days of watching the first routine i started writing jokes. My main inspiration is my dad, at an early age i would watch him telling stories and dish out a bit of light hearted teasing at all family gatherings which made him the center of attention. Ever since writing my first joke nearly three years ago i have been consistently dedicating my time to it. I wish to perform stand up at open mike events, although i have yet to perform due to procrastination and anxiety. I have been rehearsing a routine relentlessly recently and plan on performing as soon as possible. I am ambitious enough to have started a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and even 5th 5 minute routine as i am well aware that my first performance may bomb and my first routine will need re-working. I have also started working on a few sketches, nearly five of which are almost completed which i will put on youtube. I have a dark and dry sense of humour and although this comes natrually to me i find it motivating working on less adult related humour as i find it challenging. Please feel free to message me as i am very passionate about comedy but can not find anyone who shares my passion. That last bit sounds like i'm on dating site i know lol
