Colin Garrow

A professional WRITER, DIRECTOR, FACILITATOR, STORYTELLER, CREATIVE ARTIST and MUSICIAN who has wide experience of developing community and participatory drama and arts projects.

Colin was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne and now lives in North East Scotland.

He has a degree in Drama and a Post Graduate Diploma in Community Education. Colin has worked with a host of arts organisations and theatre companies, including: Hull Truck Youth Theatre, Headway Theatre, Theatre Cap-a-Pie, Hull University, Stagestars Scotland and Va Va Voom Theatre. He has experience of facilitating performances, creating processional puppets, videos and written work in a wide range of community settings with young people, learning disabled adults and those with low literacy skills.

From 2008-2011 Colin was Artistic Director of WACtheatre (The Writers & Actors Collaboration Theatre Co) in Aberdeen.
