A Midsummer Night's Dream
Emma Rice's colourful production of Shakespeare's popular comedy, fusing music, dance and comedy. It's the story of four runaway lovers who find themselves in the forest outside of Athens, where they get caught up in a dispute between the king and queen of the fairies, just as a troupe of amateur actors is trying to rehearse a play. Between these two unlikely groups flies the michievous fairy Puck, armed with a wicked sense of humour and a love potion capable of making anyone fall in love with the first person they set eyes upon.
