John Bishop is joining the cast of series four of DNA Journeys. Hugh Bonneville, Adrian Dunbar, Neil Morrisey, Alex Brooker, Johnny Vegas and Oti and Motsi Mabuse will also take part in the new series airing later this year.

Comedians announced for Glasgow Comedy Festival Closing Gala
Organisers have said that alongside the presentation of the first ever Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award, Janey Godley and Paul Black will be joined by comedians Liam Farrelly, Marc Jennings, Scott Agnew, Weegie Hink Ae That?! and Jay Lafferty - all ably compered by Susie McCabe. Judy Murray and the third Murray brother, Duncan, are also set to appear. More acts are still to be announced.

Entries open for the 2023 Chortle Student Comedy Award
The winner will receive £1,000 with £250 going to the runner-up - while all finalists will also get the chance to perform at the Latitude Festival in Suffolk in July.

Bottom episode pulled over possible offence
An episode from the 1995 series has been pulled from the catch-up service of TV channel Gold over scenes that 'could be deemed offensive to the Royal Family'. However, only one episode is involved - and it was pulled from the catch-up service after the Queen's death last September, but only just noticed. And a spokesperson for Gold's parent company UKTV, promised it would be back soon.
