Alistair McGowan

Alistair McGowan: The Piano Show - Cadogan Hall, London review

McGowan tells us he took up piano in his late forties and this show is devised round his performances of short, likeable piano pieces, interspersed with some of his best-loved impressions. His piano playing is impressively accomplished for someone who has only played for a decade.

Austentatious. Austentatious

Review: Austentatious, Leicester Square Theatre

Haphazard improvised comedy, where the enthusiastic cast stumble their way through an imaginary lost Jane Austen novel. It's chaotic, unpredictable, and very, very silly.

Inside No. 9 - 7.4 review: Kid|Nap

The great thing about an anthology show like Inside No. 9 is you can have a misfire one week, and then follow it up with a great episode without missing a beat. "Kid|Nap" is a return to form of sorts, with strong performances across the board, and some extraordinarily suspenseful moments.
