Trailers and publicity for the film would have you believe that Broadbent's character Kempton Bunton carried out the daring art heist - but the thief was actually the driver's son, Jackie. 45-year-old grandson Chris tells The Sun: "My grandad witnessed his own dad come back from the war disabled and ending up isolated and alone."
