Calls for 'woke' BBC to stop 'censoring art'

The 'woke' BBC has been slammed after admitting editing some Chewin' The Fat scenes so that they do not offend a new generation of viewers. The legendary sketch show originally aired from 1999 until 2002 and launched the careers of Still Game creators Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill.

Repeats of the old episodes are occasionally broadcast on the BBC Scotland channel. However, the broadcaster has now confirmed that they edit every episode before they put it on the air, and this involves them removing some of the more risque sketches.
