The first ever Doddy Day will take place this November
A celebration of one of Liverpool's most famous sons, Sir Ken Dodd will take place on what what have been his birthday weekend, bringing a festival filled with laughter and smiles to the city, whilst also proving that comedy has a positive impact on mental health. The Comedy Trust have teamed up with National Museums Liverpool, the Ken Dodd Charitable Foundation, Radio Merseyside, Knotty Ash Productions and Liverpool's Royal Court to create the celebration which will be known as Doddy Day and will take place on Saturday 7 November 2020.
