Ruby Wax: stop linking comedic genius with depression

The constant linking of bipolar and public figures is covertly saying you have to be nuts to perform - but especially if you're funny. But how often can I say that this is wrong?

Radio Times review

Hannah falls - literally - for a rugged busker, only to discover he's a born-again Christian who wants to spend his days doing more than watching gory Swedish crime dramas back-to-back. As a measure of the silliness of this sitcom, one of the funniest gags is her inability to pronounce his Irish name.

Meanwhile, a city-slicker neighbour asks her brother Dan to babysit his beloved tropical fish while he's away on business and the results are predictably messy. As always, Hannah doesn't mince her words: "Dan, you're turning into The Shit Mr Ripley and it's getting kind of creepy."

Siblings is as shallow and juvenile as its anti-heroes - and it's a giggle.

Dawn French: Thirty Million Minutes review

It was an evening of contrasts, as barbed comments about the press coverage of her weight loss (as she prepared for a hysterectomy, it transpires) were tempered by revelations that she had a crush on Val Doonican and Nana Mouskouri and is addicted to Big Brother.
