Almost 40 years since the newest of them were broadcast, all of Morecambe & Wise's surviving ITV work is to be released on DVD in time for Christmas.

More than eighty programmes, produced between 1962 and 1983, are being issed by Network Distributing from Monday 29th November 2021, comprising every surviving programme the duo made for ATV, and all 34 episodes made by Thames Television.

Spanning either side of their highly-celebrated BBC years (1968 - 1978), the shows follow a familiar, hugely popular pattern: quick sketches, song-and-dance routines, spoofs, celebrity guests, plays what Ern wrote.

The ATV programmes (1962-68) see Eric and Ernie on the rise from stardom toward legendary, national treasure status. These were the shows that truly made the beloved duo comedy superstars, before being lured to the BBC.

After ten years with Auntie, Thames lured them back to the commercial broadcaster with a bigger budget and the promise of a number of feature films. Running until Eric's sudden death in Spring 1984, the episodes continue the same winning formula as their BBC shows - and many of these programmes have not only never been released on DVD before, but not aired since their original broadcasts in the early 1980s.

Now available to order directly from Network and from retailers like Amazon, the 14 disc box set Morecambe & Wise At ITV is released on 29th November 2021, and to celebrate we have two copies to give away just in time for Christmas.
