Practice makes perfect - tips for comedy creators

Practice, as everyone from piano teachers to sexologists might say, makes perfect. Too many people who say they want to be comedy writers, don't actually do any comedy writing.

Furthermore, the more you write the better you will get: this applies to everyone from complete newbies to the most established professionals. You will discover new tricks and techniques. You will become more confident. Your writing, after ten years of concerted effort and dedication, will be much better than when you first put pen to paper (or finger to laptop).
